Kampler has attended MAPIC for the past five years, in Cannes, France, a large annual global gathering of retailers and property developers. In November 2014, she participated as a panelist in a session entitled “Tips from the Experts for Expanding Retail into the USA,” which explored successful strategies that non-USA retailers have used when expanding into the United States. She is the strategic adviser to several international retailers who are currently seeking expansion in the United States including luxury apparel, restaurant, and entertainment users.
Kampler also serves as consultant to foreign shopping center developments who seek her expertise and access to retailers for their on their leasing projects in China, Poland, Brazil, and Israel.
In particular, Kampler has many alliances with real estate and retailer companies in Israel, allowing her to serve as a unique conduit for cross border opportunities between Israel and the US. A fluent speaker of Hebrew, she is currently working with Israel-based retailers who are contemplating or undergoing expansion of their brands in the U.S. and Canada, and is also introducing and facilitating franchise operating partnerships for American companies establishing their concepts in Israel. Abroad she maintains an affiliation with M.A.N. Properties in Tel Aviv. At home she maintains connections with the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) and is actively involved in its operation. She is a Senate Club member of AIPAC, serves as AIPAC National Council Member and Bergen & Rockland Council Member, and is the Co-Chair of the Bergen & Rockland Annual Event.
